(Provided by Realities Focus Inc. volunteer tax preparers)
VITA services for foreign students and scholars are separate from CSU’s VITA program and are by appointment only on Saturdays from February 14 – April 4, 2025.
The phone number to call for foreign student information and appointments is 970-430-6279. CALLS WILL NOT BE RETURNED UNTIL MID MAY. This is a volunteer number set up only to receive voicemail messages. Please leave your name and mobile phone number and we will call you back within 72 hours to discuss your tax filing status, send you the forms that you will need to complete prior to our preparing your return, and make your appointment. This year most, if not all, tax returns can be filed electronically.
(On rare occasions tax returns cannot be e-filed, in which case you will receive a phone call and be asked to come back in to pick up and sign tax forms to be paper filed by mail.)

CSU has moved to SprintTax Calculus. This is a new process, and CSU cannot accurately estimate when the Forms will be available. The due date for issue is March 15th but the Forms may be available mid-February. International students who earn income from CSU would have set up a SprintTax Calculus account. During set up of their Calculus account, students could select electronic delivery of their tax Form. If they did not select electronic delivery, the Form will be mailed to them.
International Student VITA location:
We will provide you with a map to find the exact location of the site.
